Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell is a American TV personality who is a chef, and a former instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education. Burrell hosts Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on Food Network. Food Network. Anne Burrell, with her signature spiky blonde locks and her edgy personality on Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Cook series, shares an easy and straightforward methods for cooks at home. Chef Burrell has also worked at several of the most prestigious restaurants within New York, studied the cuisine and culture of Italy and competed on the Food Network's Iron Chef America. Early on, while growing up in New York's upstate region, Burrell became passionate about food and cooking. Following her graduation with an English and Communications degree in Canisius College in Buffalo NY she pursued her interest in the restaurant business by enrolling in The Culinary Institute of America. The Culinary Institute of America is a wonderful experience. I couldn't seem to get enough pleasure from it. Following graduation, Burrell spent one year in Italy studying in the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and working in Umbria's La Taverna del Lupo as in Tuscany's La Bottega del 30, an Michelin-starred restaurant. She gained a deeper knowledge of Italian culture and cuisine during her stay in Italy, which has influenced her style of cooking. Burrell is a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which brightens the lives of children facing challenges. She is also an Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation celebrity ambassador. she advocates for children with diabetes and awareness. As an inspirational speaker, she is on the road to speak about her passion for food as well as her career in the culinary field. Through her culinary adventures, Anne often says that she feels so lucky to be able to share what I love most for life with people.
