After his school days Lars joined the military services in which he completed his military basic service for nine months with Kongelige Livgarde (Royal Guards) An infantry regiment in the Danish army. The military service was not the best choice and he began looking for something different after completing it and decided then to pursue a degree in biology. Anette returned from a juggler course and showed Lars the amount she could juggle in three days, even though the juggler was already busy for half of a year. Lars was delighted and wanted to take it on. He dropped out of the college to go to a juggling school. He learned fire breathing as well as Juggling at this school. He then travelled with two of his buddies through Europe performing as touring artists performing in cities such as Paris, Munich and Moscow. He came across a circus for children in the next year and learned children's and street theatre as well as pantomime.
